Here is a way to make a simple rocket from household mateials.
What you will need:

Vinegar
Baking soda
Cellophane (Plastic Wrap)
Knife (optional)
  1. Screw the glue all the way to the top, it should be able to be pulled right off. If not cut of with knife.
  2. Fill the glue-stick until it is about 1 cm from the brim with vinegar.
  3. Fill the cap 1 3rd with baking soda.
  4. Cover with enough cellophane to cover the baking soda but not stick out of the lid.
  5. Go to the launch site, quickly put the lid on the glue stick, shake lightly for a second and place on launch pad and wait for the launch.
Note: If it doesn't launch you may not have enough vinegar and/or baking soda. You may also have two much plastic wrap.
